The Challenge

Hasbo Bokförlag came to us through a referral from an existing client. As a publisher, they needed a website where visitors could easily browse and purchase books directly. They also needed a visual identity that reflected the publisher's philosophy and values.

Our Approach

Brand Identity

The logo became the core of the brand. We designed an H shaped like an open door, a symbol for the publisher opening its door to anyone with an idea who wants to get published. The concept captures the publisher's accessible and welcoming attitude, and the logo works strongly both at small scale on book spines and at large scale on the website.

Website and E-commerce

The site was built in WordPress with WooCommerce to handle book sales. Each book is presented with a cover image, description, price, and a simple buy button. We focused on making the shopping experience as smooth as possible, from browsing titles to completing a purchase.

The design is kept clean and easy to navigate, with the books front and center. Visitors should be able to find and buy a book without unnecessary steps.
